Sun Safe

After cancer treatment, it is important to protect your skin when you are out in the sun, and you may find that your skin is especially sensitive. It is recommended that most people use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, and to keep your skin safe the general rule of thumb would be ‘the higher the SPF, the better’. There are sensitive sun care products available to purchase at most pharmacies, which may be helpful.
