Exercise and Physical Activity

Getting up and moving, even a little bit, is a great way to relieve tension, boost your mood, and even cope with fatigue.  Don’t push yourself to do activities that you find painful or too much.

Get advice from someone on your medical/TYA team about doing physical activity safely.

It doesn’t have to be a lot; even walking up the stairs can be a step in the right direction…

 

JTV are in Birmingham with Daniel who is a physiotherapist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Daniel’s role is to try an encourage young people to keep active throughout their treatment and takes us through a few of the exercises.
