Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at Lincoln

The Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Centre is located within the Outpatients Department of Lincoln County Hospital. The service offers information & support to anyone affected by cancer – patients, families and friends. The service operates as a drop in centre, no appointment is necessary.

Opening times: Monday to Thursday, 09.00-16.00

Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre – Grantham and District Hospital

The Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre offers information (e.g. prevention, screening, treatment, end of life and survivorship) together with emotional support for patients, their carers, families and for staff. Referrals can be made to other relevant local services and organisations (e.g. Community services, Macmillan welfare benefits, hospice services, carers and social services etc.)

Outreach sessions are conducted monthly at various locations around the county. Please contact the centre for further details.

Opening times: Tuesday - Thursday, 09.00 - 16.00

Scunthorpe Information & Support Service

This service offers a private and confidential environment for you to come and talk to someone. The service also takes bookings for the ‘Look Good, Feel Better’ sessions and HOPE (Helping to Overcome Problems Effectively) courses in Scunthorpe. If a member of staff is unavailable when you visit, please leave your details at the centre, and the service will contact you as soon as possible.

The service also offers outreach clinics in Ashby, Barton-upon-Humber and Brigg. For more information, or to book an appointment for the next one, please get in touch.

The Macmillan Information and Support Centre offers information regarding cancer and available services; together with emotional support for patients, their families/ carers and for staff.

Grimsby Information & Support Service

This service provides free and confidential information and support to anyone with questions about cancer. The service also takes bookings for the HOPE (Helping to Overcome Problems Effectively) courses that run in Grimsby. The information centre is open 24/7, but please call before visiting if you wish to speak to someone. Information and advice can also be provided over the phone and via e-mail too.
