Breathing exercises

You may find that doing some breathing exercises can help you to feel a bit more relaxed, help with sleep and ease uncomfortable feelings.

Here's a simple example of a breathing exercise: 

  • Make sure you are comfortable
  • Put one hand on your chest and one on your stomach
  • Slowly breathe in
  • Notice the movement in your chest and stomach
  • Slowly breathe out
  • Rest and repeat
